Ingredients - Serves

1 coil (extra virgin, avocado or other)

1egg, room temperature

1 tbslemon juice

1 tspdried mustard or Dijon

1/2 tspsalt

Step by Step

In a wide mouth jar, add ingredients one by one.

Allow ingredients to settle for 30-60 seconds

Place the immersion blender all the way to the bottom of the jar and turn on low.
Don’t move it until the mayo starts to emulsify. This only takes a few seconds.

After ingredients begin to emulsify, move the immersion blender around to incorporate all of the ingredients.

Continue until all ingredients are incorporated, and the consistency looks right.
Notes:
THIS RECIPE CONTAINS RAW EGG.
You can substiture egg beaters or another pasturized raw egg option, using their measurements for a signle egg.
If you woudl like flavored mayo add garlic or chili powder for some kick!
