70 days. Introduced in 1888 by Peter Henderson & Co. and one of their most famous varieties; still popular to this day. In 1888 Henderson offered $100 cash for plants bearing the most pods and proclaimed it “A VEGETABLE WONDER!!!” “Can and should be grown in every garden,” and also said “of all the Novelties...ever sent out, there is nothing so entirely distinct and valuable as this New Vegetable.” Dwarf bush plants can be grown like regular bush beans. Very tasty, tender beans, and very early too!
